Yoona Shares Thought on Being Called Beautiful

Girls’ Generation’s YoonA shared her thoughts 

on working in the entertainment industry for a long time.

On the March 24 episode of SBS’s “My Ugly Duckling,

YoonA became the youngest special MC ever to appear on the show

MC Shin Dong Yup asked her, 

Since people are calling you beautiful since you were young, isn’t it honestly not that exciting for you [anymore]?” However, YoonA replied, “No. Hearing good things gets better the more often you hear them

MC Seo Jang Hoon asked

“Do you still enjoy hearing it?”

YoonA said with a laugh,

“Yes. Please say it often.”

YoonA Turned 30

Seo Jang Hoon remarked, “YoonA debuted when she was very young, and she’s promoted as a member of the nationally-known Girls’ Generation for a long time. You still look like a young girl, but I hear that the first digit of your age changed this year.” The singer-actress commented, “Nothing big has changed since I turned 30, but I feel more relaxed.”

“I’m close with people in my agency [SM Entertainment]. We’ve spent time together since we were trainees, and we worked together after debuting, so we end up taking care of each other more.” She went on to reveal that she was close with Super Junior, TVXQ, and BoA.

She Continued, 

“Since [Girls’ Generation] had many members, I don’t think I ever thought to myself, ‘I need to befriend lots of other colleagues.’ Since we were doing and feeling the same things, I thought, ‘My members are everything to me.’”

YoonA answered, “Maybe at the beginning of my debut. [Back then,] I didn’t talk much when I went home. Since I met a lot of people and talked a lot while working outside, I wanted to rest when I went home. Even though I knew [that my parents must want me to talk more,] I couldn’t help it.”

YoonA then reveals about her parent’s nagging

Her parents are nagging her recently about going to bed earlier. “Even though I feel tired and want to go to bed early, I can’t fall asleep,” she said. “Because my daily routine changes so much while working.”
